Only 30 minutes away from the busy airport, you arrive through a beautiful alley of mangrove trees to be greeted by the great team of Ging Oya. Imasha, Romesh, Nilantha and all the other staff make you feel right at home. The food is freshly prepared and tastes great. The pool is clean, large and a nice way to cool down. If you like nature and some quiet time, you should definitely plan to stay at Ging Oya. I know, I will again next time!

The Backwaters Lodge se encuentra en Wilpattu y dispone de jardín, terraza, restaurante y wifi gratis. Este alojamiento, que cuenta con recepción 24 horas, también ofrece barbacoa. El personal muy amable y atento, la comida rica y en gran cantidad. No pudimos hacer el safari debido a las crecidas del Río y en el hotel nos ofrecieron muchos otros planes. Como un tour en barco y la posibilidad de de bañarnos en varias zonas.

Just Inn está en Puttalam. Hay wifi gratis y parking privado en el propio alojamiento. Hay toallas y ropa de cama en la habitación en casa particular. I had a wonderful time staying at Just Inn. The host Bassam genuinely went out of his way to ensure things went very smoothly. He offered to pick me up from the bus station, took me out for dinner in his tuktuk, then took me out for a site seeing your of the local area and to his coconut farm where he fed me fresh tropical fruits for breakfast! The room is very comfortable, clean, absolutely no complaints. Shower works well, internet is fast and smooth, and the AC is icy cold. Couldn't have asked for a better stop off point in Puttalam than Just Inn.

If you're thinking about visiting Dili's (whether for the restaurant or to rent a room) do it! We spent a week there, and their genuine kindness truly left a lasting impression. We're so grateful for the extra care they showed us throughout our stay.

The Sanctuary está en Vannativillu y tiene jardín, terraza, restaurante y wifi gratis. This place is amazing. If you want to go to Wilpattu National Park, this is the perfect accommodation. We booked The Sanctuary half an hour before arriving and we were warmly greeted at the door by the owner Siraj. Siraj's passion for environmental protection is incredible. His knowledge of the ecology of the area is huge. Siraj and his team provided us with first class hospitality, beautiful food and a fully organized safari we will never forget (for a very competitive price). Extras like plentiful home grown bananas, a night tour of the grounds (seeing flying foxes and mouse deer) and free photos of what we saw on safari were the icing on the cake. It was a privilege to have stayed at The Sanctuary and we left enriched. I would not hesitate to return here in future.

Totally exceeded our expectations! Even better than the photos and super friendly people treat you just like family. Such a clan and nicely decorated place and super comfortable beds, comforter and fluffy pillows on a soft bed. just what we needed! Also about as close as you can get to the rickshaw run start line so was a super location for us. No hot water but we didn’t even miss it.

This accommodation is very special and we felt like we were in an oasis of calm. The pool was perfect, the house is in a beautiful garden among coconut palms. The mini house is very well equipped for European style (we very much appreciated the separate shower). We really haven't found a single mistake. Too bad we only stayed one night, it was probably the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka for a month.

The welcome juice was delicious! The room was clean. The bed was comfortable with a good mosquito net. The location was super calm and you can enjoy the sunset over the rice fields. It was very easy to arrange the half day safari with the hosts.
