The ceiling fan was not functioning but they gave us a stand fan, which worked. But what made this place stand out is the very accommodating nature of Dimu and his staff. The breakfast was also delicious, the dhal curry is to die for. They also offered private transfer to neighbouring towns at affordable prices. They also offer affordable but very experienced safari guide (Sumudu) - we saw elephants at places where no one else was there. Definitely worth booking if you’re going for the safari!

Also, the food is the best food we’ve had this whole trip! Incredible vegetarian Sri Lankan food- we are worried we will never find curry that tastes as good again!
