Depending on your travel preferences (interaction or not) Dinesh is very accommodating. Dinesh makes you feel welcomed from day one, and no request is too big or small. He is happy to take you around town, and really makes you feel like family. This enhances the homestay experience and gives a small insight into life in a Newari household.

Nir and his wife are very kind, lovely and helpful people. We enjoyed staying at their homestay and we had everything we needed. The room was cozy and quite, bed comfy and the bathroom clean. I think I had the best night's sleep here in many months of travelling. It is a little outside the city centre, but we didn't mind walking through the nice neighbourhood everyday at all. We would definitely stay here again! P.s. check out the rooftop, there's an amazing view over the city.

Το Namaste Home Stay είναι σε Dhulikhel και έχει κήπο, βεράντα, μπαρ καθώς και δωρεάν WiFi σε όλους τους χώρους του καταλύματος. close walk to namobuddha so you can try to catch the goings on at all hours of the day if you wanted to. food was EXCELLENT and some of the best pakodas i've never had in my life. owner and family area kind and always there willing to answer questions with a smile.

Το HOTEL RUPAKOT AND ROOFTOP RESTAURANT προσφέρει διάφορες ανέσεις, όπως βεράντα, μπαρ και σπα και κέντρο ευεξίας, σε απόσταση 300μ από Πλατεία Bhaktapur Durbar, στον προορισμό Μπακταπούρ. Best hotel I stayed in in Nepal. Its clean and modern, internet was good enough to work from, the breakfast was very tasty and they catered to my special needs, which was very nice (I am celiac and cant eat wheatflour). Also the location is great and I enjoyed Bhaktapur, which is a very nice city.

She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

This is a house of a local family, so it’s a best way to stay here and get the most of local life. I spent a whole week here for the Nepali new year and had several Newari dinner meals with the host’s family (include a new year feast). I learned to properly eat with my hand. And I appreciate they changed the food every day a bit when I said I like to try more kinds of local food. The rooptop is the best place to have a full view of the Dubar Square and valley, I really enjoyed to stay up there every morning and night, so peaceful and chill. During the festival, the host provided all the infos about when and where to see the celebrations and even show me around, tell stories about Bhaktapur and the festival. It’s the place I would like to come back one day.

Stop searching and book this place now, (and add an extra night or two to what you were originally planning)

Helpful staff, spacious room, and its quiet neighborhood.Their staff is very friendly and helpful. I went to EBC and they helped keeping my 1 kg baggage for nearly ten days. And still remember me. There are also good cafes and restaurants nearby.
