It’s a beautiful hotel, really nice clean rooms, well located. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Best food we’ve had in Nepal, and really good value for money. They even upgraded us to an en-suite room for no extra cost. Beautiful rooftop views.

If you’re traveling alone or want to experience Bhaktapur from a local’s perspective, Shekhar’s Shared Home is the perfect place.

I had amazing time and experience in this home stay. I stayed in small plywood hut with comfortable bed, toilet and fan, just right in the forest and i loved it. Facilities is very simple but it so quiet and relaxed, best for nature lovers. The owner is very kind and helpful, helped me to bring up and down to homestay my scooter, as the road was steep and im not experienced on these roads. The food was delicious. Also on Saturday its a lot of people going to waterfall and bridge, can be a bit loud, but other time this private place is a paradise for solitude. I very appreciated the hospitality of the owner and really recommend this place for get away.

There is nice view of the stupa from the terrace. The room is kept clean by the housekeeping staff. The prices are definitely unmatchable. Great value for money.
