He gave us a lot of informatio, we had nice talks on the rooftop and he was always ready to help. Breakfast was also great.

Our window view was of a temple, and you are literally two blocks from Kathmandu Durbar Square. The room had charging plugs right near the bed, and each room is its own floor so the bathroom — adjacent — is private. There is a water dispenser and a kettle on each floor as well. Bobby suggested that we use the roof are to dry clothes, but he also provides a clothespin rack inside (it’s monsoon season). Bobby was super helpful — met me at the airport, showed us where to change money, helped us buy umbrellas, booked our Tourist bus to Pokhara, arranged for a taxi pickup, and each was a value-for-money experience. He let us store our luggage for our days away for a small fee. The room is only fan-cooled, but I’d gladly put up with the “a little steamy” for the location and the support.

This is a house of a local family, so it’s a best way to stay here and get the most of local life. I spent a whole week here for the Nepali new year and had several Newari dinner meals with the host’s family (include a new year feast). I learned to properly eat with my hand. And I appreciate they changed the food every day a bit when I said I like to try more kinds of local food. The rooptop is the best place to have a full view of the Dubar Square and valley, I really enjoyed to stay up there every morning and night, so peaceful and chill. During the festival, the host provided all the infos about when and where to see the celebrations and even show me around, tell stories about Bhaktapur and the festival. It’s the place I would like to come back one day.

Se encuentra en Nagarkot, a 10 km de Plaza Durbar - Bhaktapur y a 18 km de Estupa de Boudhanath. it’s very calm and next to the forest, short walk from the waterfall and the suspension bridge! maybe a bit far from nagarkot town but you can take a walk or a bus/taxi so no problem. very lovely owner and family, felt very comfortable also the treehouse was superb and super clean. i definitely recommend staying there

Shine Homestay Famille Francophone - Shine Home and Apartment está a 2,5 km de Hanuman Dhoka y ofrece alojamiento con salón de uso común, terraza y cocina compartida. Extremely pleasant host Rabina. She was very helpful, courteous and extremely patient. Was proactive with her helpful tips to explore Khatmandu. Their house is very warm and had friendly vibes and the room I stayed in was exceptionally clean and had everything one could ask for. Definatly would recomed it to anyone travelling to Thamel, specially lady solo travellers.

Swagat homestay está en Katmandú y dispone de wifi gratis, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza. Arriving at Sugat and Roshani's lodging was like feeling at home. It is a place served first hand by the owners and this makes it special. They pay attention to every detail and dedicate their time to sharing information with each guest. The place is clean, well-kept, the place where breakfast is served is very comfortable and warm. There is also a roof top to enjoy. I recommend 100% and I would come back.
