Her warmth, kindness, and personal attention made us feel completely at home from the very first moment. It’s rare to find such heartfelt hospitality. Breakfast was delightful, with fresh local ingredients and beautiful presentation. Everything about this place feels done with love.

After a sudden change of plans, I chose the 228Hostel to stay for a couple of nights, mainly to do the Jabal Shams Balcony Walk. I honestly didn't expect to enjoy this stay so much! Mahmoud and Marita are amazing hosts, they were helpful and fun to talk to. They organized a nice dinner along with other guests staying one night. It is very refreshing to hear the stories and experiences from all of them. The views from the room and the rooftop are amazing. I highly recommend!

Its a restored ancient house overlooking the green palm groves and situated at the top of the house the famous Rogan Castle built more than 1500 years ago. I honestly enjoyed everything. The staff and owner are amazing. We had a guided tour and learned a lot about the town and the owner's family history. It was very interesting. The breakfast and dinner were good. The view from the room was really beautiful. I would recommend this place!
