Owners are super nice, we’ve been treated like an old friends. They were very helpful, making sure all our needs were addressed. Also we really appreciate that hotel are 10 minutes away from Main Street, it gave us so much peace. We drove a scooter during our stay, but it’s just few minutes walk from all activities. Hotel rooms is very basic, but super clean and cozy. And highlight of our stay - Bruno, owner’s dog, he is super friendly. I will miss this furry little guy 🥹

Sambag Hideaway Bungalows está en Moalboal, a 25 km de Cataratas de Kawasan, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, zona de playa privada y terraza. Lo que más nos gustó de alojamiento fueron las vistas desde el jardín, la tranquilidad del sitio y la amabilidad del personal. Fue todo facilísimo con ellos desde el día de llegada hasta el último, se encargaron de pedir cena para q pudiéramos comer algo al llegar a pesar de ser tarde. Lisa nos ayudó con todas nuestras preguntas y excursiones que hicimos. La habitación estaba muy limpia y bien equipada. La ubicación para nosotros fue perfecta ya que no se encuentra en el meollo de turistas y eso nos aseguraba tranquilidad; no no obstante para ir a cenar o a ver las sardinas al “centro” , el Tuktuk tarda 5-10 min 😊. Una maravilla de lugar !

Pequeño hotel situado a 10’ del centro de Moalboal. Ideal para no estar en pleno bullicio. El hotel dispone de una zona de relax y de un comedor donde puedes coger agua y cafés gratuitos a cualquier hora del día. También sirven desayunos de 7-10h. Las habitaciones son grandes y espaciosas, dando todas al jardín de este. El personal es muy amable. Te alquilan motos, te proporcionan taxis o tuktuk… Recomendable al 100%

El Roos Guesthouse se encuentra en Moalboal, a 300 metros de la playa de Panagsama, y ofrece jardín y terraza. También cuenta con bar y zona de estar/salón. Most comfortable stay in the Phillipenes after three weeks of traveling. Everything was clean and well organized. The host takes care of the guests and provide a booklet of tips, tours, and restaurants. The location is very good, surrounded by many restaurants, and close to the beach for the sardine run. Thanks to the tip of the host we booked a trip to the whale shark watching with them and directly connected it with a ferry from Oslob to Panglao (Bohol) which saved us the travel back to cebu city

JRM Place se encuentra en Oslob, a pocos pasos de Playa de Quartel, y ofrece alojamiento con zona de playa privada, parking privado gratis y terraza. It's right by the ocean. A gorgeous spot, especially in the mornings and during low tide. They DO HAVE WIFI, and it's an excellent one. On Booking it says no wifi, and they should really change that, as it's a deal breaker for many. My cozy, clean and spacious room opened up to the lovely rustic covered seafront terrace with rustic tables and chairs, a sunbeds and some hammocks. So chilled and nice. It reminded me so much about good old time Philippine travelling. Hard to find these places these days. It's worth to note that they have 2 entries on booking.com, so if you fall in love with the look of the terrace, but want a better room, then type JRM place in the search box and the 2nd entry appears with better, but not much more expensive rooms. The rustic place that appears first, has better rating, maybe because those rooms attracts a different clientel! Excellent location close to the bus stop and 7 eleven. Cold drinks for sale in the evening. BYO anything else. I didn't come to Oslob for the controversial whale sharks, but because there is so much else you can see on easy day trips. Buses are frequent and habal habals are so organized from the junctions to tourist sights, with fair fixed prices posted up. I ended up extending my stay, as it was so much to see.

The host was very responsive. They refilled the water very fast when it was gone. They also recommended places to buy food. They also helped me buy some stuff as we were arriving late at night. Shawe pension house está en San Remigio y cuenta con bar. Este alojamiento, que tiene cocina compartida, también ofrece terraza. Very nice staff & room was nice. It was quiet, which is always good, especially in the Philippines which tends to be very noisy.
