In the morning, we checked out early at 5 AM due to our flight, and they had breakfast ready for us. The facilities were excellent, with a room that was well-equipped and clean. There are many places to relax and plenty of activities to keep you busy. We are very satisfied

We spent a few nights in Can Tho in one of Human's bungalo's, and had a magical experience here. Upon arrival we were seated in the open air dining room and immediately were served cold tea and warm conversation.  After settling in and catching our breath, we were given a tour of the "village" and put our things away in our room.  There are five seperate buildings here.  Each has a bathroom of its own, and although they are not fully enclosed, there is mosquito netting on the bed. Human and his family are a pleasure to spend time with.  We got up early to take a tour of the Cai Rang floating market.  At 630 am, we met Human in the dining room, hopped on the bicycles he provided, and rode about twenty minutes through the winding jungle streets to the river.  From there, we got on a boat, checked out the floating market, walked around another market in town (not floating), and then visited a rice noodle factory for a tour, which included a chance to get involved and perform part of the creative act ourselves!  Upon our return we relaxed for a while before dinner, which was prepared by Human's mother - a great cook!  We dined with some other guests and had a great time chatting with them.  We were also lucky enough to meet Human's son Bill,  who is about 15 I believe - a student, and very charming, pleasant young man.  I can't remember his proper name,  but his nickname Bill is in honor of Bill Clinton, who lifted the embargo against Vietnam in 1994.  How do I know that?  Because Human is a great storyteller and guide.  The buildings were designed and raised by Human his brother, who is an engineer who built the nearby Children's Hospital, which has five hundred beds and I believe is a point of pride on Human's part.

Ms Ngoc gave me the very useful tip to avoid taxi cost as the FUTA bus dropped me to hotel free of charge. Very responsive on messaging before I arrived as well. Good location and a 10 min walk to the pier where i took my own canal tour during the day. Made my Can Tho trip very easy.

Both Phoenix and Bosa will treat you like family.

Thanh Ha Guesthouse has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi in Can Tho. The property can assist guests with arrangements for private Mekong tours. Special diet menus are available on request. The stay at Ms Ha's house was amazing because she was such a great host! The room we stayed in was very basic but we stayed only for one night so we did not really care. The best part was the tour we did with Ms Ha, that starts at 3.40 AM and lasts until 11AM. She showed us the floating martket and surrounding villages. Everything was very fun, I would definitely recommend!

The dining area has a small kitchen that's fully equipped—with an induction cooktop, microwave, dishes, and even essentials like fish sauce, soy sauce, cooking oil, and a full set of spices. Man, the young host, was super thoughtful and paid attention to everything we needed.
