Great hostel in central Melbourne, good value for the price. The room was bigger than what's usual for hostels, everything was clean and nice. Each bed has a shelf, a light and several sockets, and the lockers are also pretty spacious. There were several small bathrooms with everything in one room (toilet, shower, sink) which I think is much better than stalls, and since there were several, I always found at least one vacant. There is amazing view from the roof. Everything is close, the central tram/metro station was literally a few mins walk. Wifi worked great, staff was nice. They let me keep my bag there for free after I checked out.

Ritz Backpackers is finally re-opening with a face lift including all new bunk beds with privacy curtains, charger points, bed light and fan!

We stayed in a private room with a nice panorama view overlooking the city. The room and bathroom were very clean. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Thank you for the flexibility with the check out time. We had a pleasent stay overall and would highly recommend to others!

Really lovely hostel for everyone, the bar was really fun especially monday night bingo! The bartenders were really friendly and provided great service! The staff at the hostel were all very lovely and friendly, and a special shout out to Naomi one of the girls in reception she was really lovely and helped us out alot, what a star! ⭐️ Defiently recommend and would stay here again!

Stayed twice june and september this year, the place is excellent and staff are amazing. Tram is 50 metres away and Windsor train station a three minute walk. The large tv is a bonus and electronic lock with individual codes make it very safe. Kitchen is clean with plenty of utensils and will be back to stay again.

It's no secret that as a backpacker on a budget you are looking for the cheapest accommodation, this accommodation exceeded my expectations, as a backpacker I have been to a few hostels and this one is by far the cleanest (kitchen, bathroom, rooms) and all other areas are very well maintained, the staff have the expertise to be there when you need them but not stand out. the other guests are very pleasant and relaxed, it's quiet. Don't worry if it should be a bit louder in the communal area, you won't notice a thing in your room.
