I had a fantastic stay - the staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were clean and in a good state, and the location was excellent for both the beach and the town. I also really appreciated the eco features, and overall I would absolutely recommend!

Jeugdherberg De Peerdevisser is located in Oostduinkerke, 39 km from Bruges and 20 km from Ostend. The beach is a 10 minute walk away.

The receptionists were extremely nice. You get a beer token once you check in which you can use to try a local beer for a cheap price at the bar. A coat hanger would have been nice but it wasn't a big deal as I just hung my jacket around the bedpost. Apart from that the room had almost everything you could ask for (individual power outlet and reading lamp, safe for storing items, etc.) and the washrooms were very clean. I get that people complain about there not being enough showers but it's a hostel so either just wait your turn or don't do it when everyone one else wants do and it will be fine. I was also able to leave my backpack in the luggage room until evening free of charge. If I ever come to Bruges again I will gladly return there.

Hostel Europa offers accommodation 1km from the city centre and is close to the train station. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar.

I have stayed in a female room of four. Hostel Europa is situated not very far from the town centre- 7min on the bicycle . The rooms were clean and all staff professional polite speaking good English. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of food - fruit, jogurt, cereal, boiled eggs, cheese, ham jam etc... It felt safe and comfortable while there. I would go again.

This hostel is located in the centre of Bruges. St Christopher’s Inn offers free hiking tours and a 24-hour front desk. Market Square with the Belfry of Bruges is just a 13-minute walk.

We loved everything! Every staff member we encountered was so nice and helpful, hostel has a bar with lots of beer and has food too that is cheaper that other places and works till 2 am, so if you want to have fun and vivid stay we recommend it! They also offer locker room service so you don’t need to worry if you’re coming early or want to take another walk on the last day of your stay, you can can also rent a bicycle for a good price. We had a private room at the top of the hostel, it was comfortable clean and we had space, breakfast was nice and you could chose preferred diet too. Location is great and it’s a quiet neighborhood, city center is near, you need about 10 minutes walking down the street to it, you can’t get lost. Bruges is like a fairytale, people are polite, nice, streets are very cute and Belfry tower is just breathtaking and you have to climb it! :)

The attention of the team, the breakfast, and that they answered the phone very quickly when we arrived late for check-in
