The staff are very engaged with the guests and go above and beyond to make sure they have a good time. They're organising activities almost every day, invite guests to go out with them and even sometimes make guests free pancakes! One of the best experiences (if not the best) in a hostel I had in 15+ years of on and off backpacking.

The hostel was amazing! The staff at the reception was there 24/24h and was so kind and helpful. The rooms were quiet and very clean and comfortable. They have a lot of services like the breakfast with a lot of goodies and stuff to eat. I would definitely come back if I return to Bristol. I loved it.

I can't imagine visiting Bristol again and not staying here! The hostel is large, the rooms are beautiful, clean, and well-equipped. Everything you need is in one place. Want to make dinner? There's a huge kitchen (with free coffee!). Want to chill out? There's a common room with a TV, games, and books! Want to dance? There's a beer garden and two bars downstairs with different styles of music! The staff was also super helpful. I had huge boxes of music equipment with me (I'm a street musician). They helped me organize and store them.

Loved how friendly the staff were, they were extremely accommodating. Really easy to chat to, and I was so surprised just how much they were willing to go the extra mile, even though I didn't ask for much. The fusbal table was a great little addition I wasn't expecting In the lounge area. The fact that you can take advantage of everything the building has to offer, the bowling, beer and food were great. The 6 of us all loved the calzones at the Lanes. The contained showers were awesome, consistent good temperature and powerful. Location is perfect, smack bang in the centre of Bristol.

Great location right in the city centre. Super friendly staff and guests. I stayed in a private twin room, with a sink, wardrobe and drawers. The bed was basic but comfy, and the room was toasty warm. I felt safe as a single woman (it was my first time staying in a hostel so I hadn't been sure what to expect).
