Amazing stay at Sora, the host is so helpull and kind. I stayed 5 nights and enjoyed my stay, also super clean and a great location. I did prefer the private room to have enough space for luggage. If I ever get back to Kyoto, I'd stay here - great value for money!

We loved this little blue house, (the beds are very comfortable, the size of the room is perfect, the decoration is beautiful), we also loved the proximity to the neighborhood temples, the kindness of Moe. We loved doing an indigo workshop with her, now we have a great memory of Kyoto with us forever.

It's very clean and pretty, a lot of space between bed and It's not shaking when someone is up on 2nd bed, really good bathroom with hairdryer as well. At the lobby are kitchen and caffeine. Personal are friendly and speaks English. The location of the hostel is also great, the bus and train stops near, but if you like to walk it's also pretty close to the Kyoto Castle and Gion Street. I highly recommend this hostel. 👌

Once you are checked in you can do as you please, if you want to be in all day or out it is up to you. It has a great location close to all the main attractions so you can be there early to beat the crowds, even before the transportation starts working as you can go by foot. It was very clean and the staff were really nice. Plus the bonus is that you get the WHOLE ROOM to yourself for cheaper than a capsule hotel. When I return to Japan I will most definitely book this stay again.

This was our most loveable stay in Japan! OYAMA is like my grandmother - she is helpful, kind, full of love and joy and is such a gem. The Guesthouse is close to the train station but a bit far away from the center of Kyoto. But for the price you will get a very comfy bed, super clean bathrooms and showers and this beautiful host.

    I had a great stay at PIECE Hostel Sanjo. Central location next to Nishiki market, Pontocho Alley and several restaurants and shops. I booked a bed in a female shared dormitory. Comfy and intimate bed, with a safe to store valuable items if needed. Only women toilet and shower also available. I would definitely recommend it!!

    One of best hostels I've stayed at! Great location in a very traditional local street that barely sees any tourists. The property itself is a traditional house. Clean and very comfortable. Washing machine and detergent available for FREE, and balcony for hang-drying. Plenty of hangers in the room and in the balcony. Spacious common room.

    I stayed at bunk bed for 2 nights. Modern hostel with great facilities and great location. Bed was comfortable & we can use extra pillow for free. Coffee & tea, towels also free! Very recommended !
