The hostel was very clean, staff were exceptional, bed was comfortable, shared spaces were spacious and cozy as well. The lights that show which baths are taken are very convenient. Free Early and late luggage drop-off and storage are very convenient as well.

It was my second time in this hostel, like a home I visit at least once a year. For me, luggage storage until 10:00 pm is so important while I spend my day in Kyoto. They help a lot with it. Bed is comfy, with enough sockets and lighting close to the bed. Hot water is so good in the bathroom. I like common living rooms also. So good to hang out after a tiring walking day in Kyoto.

Very sweet woman working here and speaking with all the costumers, very friendly ambience, it's an easy place to make friends in the shared tatami space. I really enjoyed my stay, it's close to the station, multiple bus stops and in the city center. The place is very tidy, confortable and nice warm shower with towels and shampoo provided. Everyone is respectful and I could also take an afternoon nap in confortable warm bed. There's a nice clean kitchen you can use and fridge yo put your food. Thank you!

The location was amazing! Situated right in the heart of one of the prettiest neighborhoods, on a lovely street — and surprisingly quiet. Just a 10-minute walk from our favorite part of Kyoto, and within walking distance to all the main sights (Kiyomizu area, Philosopher’s Path, and very close to Yasaka Shrine). The self check-in process was very smooth, and we had no issues leaving our luggage there both before check-in and after check-out. Thank you!!
