Every little thing. -The manager is such a wonderful, caring and loving host. Super available, joyful and friendly! -The two brother in the kitchen same. -The place is clean, fresh and green. -They have two puppies and one cutie kitty. -Free cooking class. -A dryer in the laundry (very rare and so useful when it’s raining and you are leaving the next day) This place just feels like home.

This was the best hostel we’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka! We met so many friends here and continued travelling with them. The staff were wonderful and made it very easy for us to plan activities and socialise with other people. The dorms are clean, beds have curtains, the shower has warm water, the breakfasts were delicious and the hostel’s location is superb! The staff are very friendly and really look out for you! Someone in our group left a camera behind (which we only noticed once they told us) and they organised to transport it to Negombo for us at almost no cost!

I absolutely loved my stay here. It’s out of town but that’s what made it so special, it was so peaceful. It had a beautiful view out into the rice fields and mountains and the walk along the train tracks was beautiful. The building itself was so cute and included brekky and dinner! Plenty to do around.
