This place feels more like a cozy guesthouse than a hostel. There are only three rooms — one single, and two shared with just one other guest — so it’s quiet and comfortable. The whole house is spotless, with a super well-equipped kitchen and a very clean bathroom. Everything feels organized and welcoming. Cozy living room to relax, great wifi! Thorsten, the owner, is a great host — very kind and easy to talk to. He personally greets you at check-in and also runs a surf shop in the village of Raposeira. A lovely stay overall — clean, comfortable, and definitely recommended!

Amazing!!!I loved everything, one of the best surf house where I have ever been! I loved every single details of the house: the common areas, yoga deck, the garden, the community that let me feel at home! Breakfast and the volunteers were superbe too!

Two amazing beaches were walkable, with the sagres natura surf rental shop on the way to Praia do Tonel, where we surfed. We loved the common areas, and the breakfast buffet (for €10) that we also packed a sandwich for lunch at. The showers had great water pressure and unlimited hot water! And everyone was so laid back. Sagres is very underrated!

A beautiful place in an amazing town!! One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. Great people, facilities and a great vibe. Beds were comfy and the hostel was quiet enough at night to get a good sleep too. The facilities/ bathrooms were all kept clean and staff were always on hand if I had any questions. Would definitely stay here again if I am back in Sagres.

My stay at this hostel was simply incredible. The atmosphere was vibrant and cosy, which made meeting new people a fantastic experience. The cleanliness in all areas of the hostel guaranteed a comfortable and healthy atmosphere. The facilities were very well equipped, from the large common areas to the comfortable and well-designed rooms!

The lighthouse is a really chill place with a lot of a vibe! Also the equipment they have is really good (kitchen/ cheap surf rental) and nice staff !! :) I would definitely recommend to stay there!! For me it was probably one of the best hostels I stayed in, in a while :) It’s not bad, but I would recommend having more hooks in the bathroom because otherwise you can’t really hang your towel/clothes anywhere…
