The owner was extremely helpful despite not being around. Facilities are wonderful and chic, and the price is awesome for solo traveller. Enjoyed my stay at Hengchun very much.

One of the best hostels in Taiwan. All the staff are kind, friendly, and laid-back. The host J shared a bunch of local recommendations with me, and I enjoyed our morning chats at the coffee shop :) They also run a bar in the same building, and even as a solo traveller, I felt comfortable spending time there because the bartenders were warm and welcoming. And of course their original cocktails were great too! My fav was 貴妃挽茶 (Imperial Concubine Yang).

The place is great! You have your own nook, privacy, there's free noodles and various drinks all day long. The staff is friendly, we even went partying together for new year! So I definitely recommend.

10 minutes walk to main street. The room is cozy and clean. Car can easily park at front yard. No extra facility. No breakfast. A good budget accommodation, I would come back here again.

The staff was super helpful and had many tips for in the area. Also, I wanted to rent a scooter. They made the call for me and the scooter was dropped off at the hostel. I could leave it there for return to. Really convenient. The hostel is also next to the night market and close to the sea and beach. Also, the room and the common area was very nice and comfortable. I wish I had more time, then I would definitely have stayed longer!

A youth hostel with such a great location, friendly staff, good buffet and interesting architecture, rare to find. We loved to stay here for a weekend, will be back ;)

I spent Two nights and three days in Checheng, and these hosts were the best I could hope for. i arrived earlier than expected and they warmly welcomed me to eat lunch with them, which was delicious by the way. i spent the whole afternoon with their daughter who showed me some special places in Checheng. We ate dinner together, I felt like I was a member of their charming family. As I came for the Full Moon Festival they brought me with them to pray in the marvelous temple of Checheng. I really appreciated being involved in this cultural adventure. They were so kind with me. Thank you very much I really felt at ease. the next day they lent me the bike and I really had a nice day wandering in Checheng streets and roads next to the sea. The sunsets are amazing!

We stayed here as a group of 20 people. This place is a gem! The rooms are spacious, the decoration shows attention to detail. Everything is clean and either new and/or kept in very good order. The beds have box spring mattresses and are very comfy. The location is great: Right at the edge to the bustle of Kenting, but very quite itself. It is right next to the main street and a convenient store. Overall excellent value for money. I highly recommended this place.
