The design of the place is absolutely stunning. It is an actual silo used for coco beans about a 100 years ago. If you are facinated with urban and industrial aesthetics - this place is for you! I liked self check-in process - it is perfect for me, as I prefer less interactions. Everything was available online with simple intructions. The room was spacious enough and big round window is amazing. Cute and healthy breakfast was included. Don't forget to ask for your Basel card for free public transport and museum discounts.

Αυτό το hostel με όμορφο ντιζάιν βρίσκεται στις όχθες του ποταμού Ρήνου, δίπλα στην πύλη St. Alban της παλιάς πόλης. The breakfast was great, the location awesome ! Central still quiet! Very clean rooms and friendly staff.

Just 300 metres from the SBB Basel railway station (exit Gundeldingen), Hostel by Hyve Basel offers budget accommodation just a 15-minute walk from Basel's city centre. Great place for a pit stop. Kids loved the slide in our room. Everything clean and staff friendly. Didn’t use the kitchen facility but ordered dinner to the hotel. Perfect!

I loved the vibe of the place, the lovely people at reception, the plants, graffiti, the comfortable beds, the available kitchen, the price, the location, so well connected with the old center, airport, main train station.

I had a few hour connection in Basel. I thought since it is so cheap I am going into a scam, but it was very decent comfortable and worth the price.

This is the perfect place if you are staying for a few days, and are out and about during the day and evening. Big room, high ceilings, very clean, good mattress and pillows, and linen. There is a new kitchen with all the amenities, even a coffee machine! New bathroom with shower, cleaned every day. Within easy walk of the main train station and trams/bus.
