I was going to stay only a few days but ended up lingering for two and a half weeks! And it was one of the places I was truly sad to leave. It felt like home! The hosts, Camilo and Maria are absolutely lovely. They are accessible but also respect privacy and let you do your thing. Camilo has also been super helpful with tips on what to to in Barichara as well as other spots in Colombia. Natalia, the house keeper is super friendly and a lovely person to be around. I hope to return soon. Just book it! I booked the room with the garden view - 100% recommend! It was also the most peaceful rest I've had in Colombia. Oh, and the showers and bathrooms are super clean and ver close to the room so it being shared is no issue. The kitchen was also equipped for all my needs and always clean.

One of the best hostels I stayed in over 6 months of travel. The staff is incredibly helpful and welcoming. There is so much to experience in the area and they will help you with everything. The hostel is really social with nightly activities, but also quiet and relaxed. There is a gorgeous garden, hammocks, pool/hot tub, nice kitchen, free coffee, and hot showers. I extended my stay multiple times.
