I was having a terrible time, and she made me tea and took my bag. She got up in the wee hours of the morning with me to make sure I got my airport taxi. God bless you Katty ❤️

I like the general atmosphere of the place, and I feel like the common spaces are nicely done to create interaction. There is also a working area you can use if you are teleworking for instance. The air conditioning is put on at night which makes it super nice to sleep. Each bed has its own privacy with curtains, a plug to charge your phone and a light. There is a shared bathroom per dorm. I paid extra for breakfast that was prepared by one of the staff. She was adorable, asked me what I would prefer and made me a different thing each morning. If you are staying more than one night, you can use the laundry service as well for some extra dollars. When I arrived, the person that did my check in also told me about all the different activities to do in and around La Fortuna, including three nice free spots like El Salto (rope swing into the river) or the hot springs. The hostel is located 5-10min walk to the city park, has plenty of small shops, markets and restaurants around and has a few parking spots if you are with a car.

Great place for families with kids. We even got invited to the dinner with Juan - the owner of the property, and his wonderful wife and friends. Plus we also got a free excursion in the sorrounding garden where Juan grows mangos, avocados, blackberries and meny other fruits. Absolutely recommend.

Rooms are extremely cheap and you get so much in return. Breakfast is good bar is good the staffs is nice and love to chat and help. Having a bar near the pool is fantastic. Booking tours is convenient. We had a problem with one of the transfer companies who canceled the trip without notifying us. It was not the hotel’s fault but they still mitigated the problem as best they could by offering a free room and a breakfast, something that not everyone would do

Good quiet location but close to all restaurants, bars etc, easy place to meet other people, very helpful staff! Curtains on beds are also very nice

The place honestly surprised me in the best way. The staff were insanely helpful — anything I needed, they handled right away and always with a great attitude. I really felt welcomed and taken care of the whole time. Wish more places worked like this. Totally recommend.

Το Alpha Private Rooms, στον προορισμό Φορτούνα, προσφέρει καταλύματα μόνο για ενήλικες με κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge και βεράντα. The owner was marvelous. He gave lots of great recommendations for several activities and does not want to sell tours like lots of others. Just perfect!!! This made our trip perfect and I highly recommend the hostel for everyone who goes to La Fortuna. The rooms were clean and we had a nice balkony to sit outside. It is a great hostel to get to know others.
