My stay at Kashta Nubian House was nothing short of amazing. The host Omar is truly a great person. His wife is also so sweet. Omar is definitely one of the kindest people I've ever met. He made his place feel like home. He greeted me upon my arrival and provided a welcome drink. Anytime I needed anything he was available. He offered help with directions and even walked me around the village the first day that I arrived. His hospitality is top tier! I also have to highlight the amazing home cooked breakfast. Truly the best that I had while staying in Egypt! You can tell that he truly enjoys being a host and ensuring guest get the best experience will staying in Aswan!

Το Bonita Chillhouse βρίσκεται στο Ασουάν, σε απόσταση 22 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Μαυσωλείο του Αγά Χαν και προσφέρει καταλύματα με κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και... Location: Quiet local neighborhood with kids playing on the street around sunset. The house overlooks the Nile. The square in front, flanked by two mosques, has direct access to the river with a small beach for swimming and boat pickups / dropoffs. The main riverside promenade is within 10 minutes walk. There is a proper Carrefour supermarket and ATMs (in the lobby of the Old Cataract hotel next door) on the way. To me, the area felt much nicer and more authentic than Elephantine island. House: Just renovated, the cleanest I've seen in Egypt (especially the kitchen and bathroom). I stayed in a double, which had the necessary amenities. The rooftop is available with pretty sunset views (see attached pic) and a nice chill area, best enjoyed with a tea. Host: Really helpful, English and Spanish speaking, very responsive, with lots of practical travel experience and great recommendations, especially about navigating the local particularities on a budget.

This beautiful guesthouse hosted by the most wonderful lady has an incredible view of the Nile. The facilities are clean and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and she was kind enough to make us a superb dinner too as we were too tired from our travels to go out. The lovely host is responsive and happy to organise cheap transport for you to go wherever you need in Aswan. It might seem out of the way but the location is perfect for all the sights. I would 100% return here to enjoy the beautiful view, the delicious home cooked food, and the company of the wonderful hostess.

Great hostel for vising Aswan. David and his family are wonderful, they work really hard to make sure all the guests are happy. Full of information about the area and he organized tours at very good prices. This hostel is unbeatable in value...it also includes a light breakfast and dinner and even laundry. The area is a bit away from the center but can easily be reached via local shuttles or Uber/InDrive. The rooms were very clean with air conditioning...some rooms have private bathrooms. There is even kitchens on different floors for cooking or using a fridge. The rooftop is very nice to relax and eat meals. This is definitely a hostel that knows what travelers are looking for in a hostel.

I had an amazing experience in this hostel! I usually travel a lot and I've been staying in hotels lately, but I decided to give a hostel a try in Aswan and spent a wonderful time! I wish I would have stayed longer because the city is lovely! The recepcionist Jimmy was super nice and helpful. The place is super clean and has relaxing vibes and it is located in the 4th floor in a building inside the Old Market. I would definitely go back!

Very beautiful place, well taken care of, with colorful paintings on the walls, Nubian style. The owners were very kind and welcoming. They helped us with the trip to Abu Simbel and with transfers. They welcomed us with a cup of mint tea, which they grow themselves. The breakfast they prepared was delicious and very big. Amazing quality for good price. Strongly recommend!
