It's hard to imagine a better location in Cairo. Nice, familial atmosphere in what could serve equally well as a backpacker hostel and a family hotel. Both foreigners and Egyptians stay here, which makes for a nice mix. Good value, nice buffet breakfast.

Please book this place ASAP! As a solo female traveler, I was kind of scared of staying in a hostel in Cairo, but this place changed my whole stay experience. From the moment I arrived, they greeted me very well and were super super friendly! The place is AMANZINGLY BEAUTIFUL. It even has a terrace with a pool area. This place literally made everything so much better, and is very well located. Everything is very clean and everyone is very nice. I felt very safe in there. It’s obvious how much effort the owner put into this home, he even sat down with me and gave me suggestions on what places to go as a solo female in Cairo and how to dress. They have a beautiful little cat named layla too! As a latina im always kind of concerned of leaving my things out without me being there. But I can definitely say that I felt VERY secure with all of my things there, because I felt very safe with the workers and also with the other tourists. Please don’t think it to much! This place is the BEST. Im so thankful I booked it. They also have a permanent coffee/tea station, and filtered water. This place changed my perspective on hostels. LOVED IT!

The View – Absolutely Breathtaking Nothing could have prepared us for the stunning rooftop terrace. We’ve seen pictures, but standing there in person, watching the Pyramids of Giza right in front of us, was surreal. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast while gazing at these ancient wonders, and at night, we watched the light show right from the rooftop. It felt like a dream! Comfort & Cleanliness The rooms were spotless and so comfortable. The beds were soft, and after long days of exploring Cairo and Giza, it was a relief to return to such a cozy space. Our room had a view of the pyramids, which made waking up every morning even more magical. The bathroom was super clean, and everything felt modern and well-maintained. Incredible Hospitality The best part of our stay was the people. The staff and management at DAR Pyramids View Inn are some of the kindest people we’ve ever met. They went out of their way to arrange tours, recommend places to eat, and even help us with transportation. It’s rare to find this level of care and attention in a hotel, and we were truly grateful for it. A Stay We’ll Never Forget Leaving was the hardest part. DAR Pyramids View Inn felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to return. If you’re visiting Egypt, don’t think twice—stay here!
