I stayed at this hostel during my motorcycle trip — and I was really impressed! One of the biggest advantages for me was the inner courtyard and the parking area, which made it easy and safe to leave my bike. The beds were extremely comfortable — I had a great night’s sleep, especially after a long day on the road. The hostel also has plenty of cozy common areas where you can relax, chat with other travelers, or just unwind with a book. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and everything was clean and well-maintained. It’s a great spot for anyone on the road who values comfort and a calm environment. Definitely recommend!

Exceptionally cozy lobby bar space with camin, etc. Excellent sauna and cold water pool. Top friendly staff. Varied tasty breakfast. The dormitory room is spacious, bright, and equipped with its own separate toilet, shower, and even (!!!) washing machine!

Porta Hostel está en Batumi, a 12 min a pie de Playa de Batumi y a 600 metros de Estatua de Ali y Nino. The location is perfect and the host is truly wonderful – very welcoming and attentive. The hostel itself has everything you need: clean rooms, fresh towels, and even toiletries already provided. What makes it extra charming is the little café right next door, also run by the host. I can especially recommend the Arabica coffee there! Overall, a really lovely stay and a place I’d be happy to return to.

The guest house has a nice balcony equipped with sets of small tables and chairs. There is also enough space to hang up your laundry/towels/swimming clothes. The room with 2 beds was small, but comfortable with a well working AC unit. We had a separate bathroom to ourselves, which was nice and clean. The kitchen is shared with the other visitors and equipped with kitchen essentials and a big fridge.

Me dejaron hacer el checking antes de la hora y despues de hacer el check out pude dejar mi mochila. Las dos chicas de la recepción eran muy amables e intentaron adaptar algo de desayunar sin gluten (trigo sarraceno)

Excellent location, very clean, with a comfortable and private room and a lovely balcony view. The service was outstanding: not only friendly, but attentive to details—for example, they left laundry detergent and fabric softener on the washing machine and even offered slippers. Although we booked the private suite, they allowed us to continue using the hostel’s facilities after check-out, such as taking a shower after the beach. We had a fantastic experience, and I would definitely stay here again :)

Quite simply, this is the best hostel in Batumi. There is ample space for people to hang out, cook and eat, there is a terrace outside for smokers, the rooms are super clean, the place has been recently refurbished, you get proper sheets, and the beds are made for you, there are personal sockets and a night light for each bed, the curtains can be drawn and make your stay rather private, there is aircon and central heating in winter. Not one other hostel in Batumi offers all of the above. And if that wasn't enough, you get free tea, coffee and sugar!!!!!!
