I had a great experience staying here. The host is a really chill, down-to-earth guy who genuinely cares about his guests. He was very accommodating to my situation and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. The room was clean, spacious, and a great place to relax after a long day. At first, I wasn’t planning to do the trekking because it was a bit out of my budget, and we initially disagreed on the price. But despite that, he went as far as to let me set up my tent on his property for free to ensure my safety, which really showed his kindness and hospitality. One important thing to note—before booking, make sure you can afford the trekking with him. He’s very passionate about it, and there could be some misunderstandings if you stay without booking a trek. But overall, if you’re looking for a welcoming place with a great host and a solid trekking experience, this is a great choice!

Sentosa Lodge dispone de bicicletas gratis, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza en Padang. El albergue está a unos 14 min a pie de Playa Samudra y a 900 metros de Siti Nurbaya Bridge. Everything was great. - The location is close to the harbor; - They arranged the transfer from the Airport and to the ferry; - They had a bike to rent for us; - They did our laundry at the same day; - We could use their fridge to store food. The staff was really helpful and friendly. A great choice for a night in Padang.

Very private with the sound of the ocean to help get you to sleep. I also think what’s not advertised is there’s a private beginner wave out front if the Beng Beng crowd and setup is a bit too intense for those just starting out! It looks like there’s plenty of depth and minimal reef to think about, and will help you practice getting to your feet and going straight (every now and then there’s a face to ride along- and I didn’t see it when there was a really big swell coming through).
