Facilities were spotless, quiet capsules- I was there in a very quiet time thought so weren’t many others staying at the same time, great location and felt very safe. Lawson also right next door.
One of the best hostels I've ever been to! Everything's great, super clean and cosy. The staff is super nice and helpful. We had a great time and would come back for sure!
Budget option for dormitory accomodation in Toyama - next to Tram stop accessible from Toyama Station.
Shotaro the owner was very welcoming and fun to talk to. Hostel had a good vibe, cute lower level with kitchen and traditional japanese style sitting room with tatami floors and low tables. It encouraged travelers to mingle and I made friends there and then went out to dinner with them! Bunk bed in dorm was comfy.
First impressions - nice budget hostel Staff are nice young aussies, with a bit of arrogance mixed in Location is great ! Great pub downstairs that serves nice food Ski tickets cheap combated to Australia
This is luxury for backpackers. It’s worth going to fujinomiya to stay here if you are a bit fatigued by all the budget travelling. Except for the temperature control it was a fantastic experience. I had a bigger cubicle but even if you had the usual capsule room it would still be many times better than other capsule hostels and dorm hostels.
The hostel is in a great location and so quiet. The staff are really helpful, but best of all you could feel the history of the place. We are a family of four (two boys aged 13 & 11) and all thought it was the best hostel we’ve stayed at - friendlier, more fun and better than many hotels. Would stay there happily again.
Great location, 5 mins walk to JR Train Station and bus terminal. Cheap and good breakfast. Room is spacious. Decent hotel for budget traveller.
Everything at Hai Lodge exceeded expectations and represents great value for money. The staff go above and beyond to ensure visitors feel welcome and at home. Great location to the Tsugaike Gondola and offer cheaper lift tickets! By far the best Hostel accommodation I’ve visited and will definitely be returning !
