Our stay at Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery was lovely. We arrived a bit late, but the staff were still there to welcome us and check us in. We decided to try the Italian restaurant ‘Small Restaurant Sae’ just up the street, and it did not disappoint. The property is also within a 6-minute drive to a FamilyMart. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast and coffee in the morning were delicious. We ran into the property owner, Craig, as we were leaving, and he was very kind and gave us recommendations for things to do in the area. We would definitely stay at Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery on our next trip to Tanigawa!

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Loads of entertainment options downstairs like a Nintendo Switch and Karaoke as well as a bar and restaurant. Staff was friendly and loads of fun, it’s obvious they care about the guests and they made the stay that much better.

I chose the cheapest bunk room available at the time. The bed was comfy and the hotel was clean. The owner/worker I interacted with was very nice. Overall I enjoyed it and would stay again!

For 35$ it was a real deal but the bed was rough and my bunk mates snored frequently throughout the night.

The bed was comfortable, but creaked every time I moved. I thought it would break. There were a few sift spots in the floor, which made me think the house is on its last legs.
