It’s a very beautiful house with an amazing and welcoming owner! We loved the location and the room, very big and as described! We will be back! Furthermore, the two cats around the hostel are just so wonderful it makes the experience even better.

Το Tudzura βρίσκεται στο Κουμαμότο, σε απόσταση 2,3 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei και παρέχει κλιματιζόμενα δωμάτια και μπαρ. Super thankful to be accommodated as a solo traveler. The host and staff are very nice and thoughtful. I was amazed by the interior design, and selection of refreshments/drinks/books here, everything is crafted in details and I can feel their efforts and seriousness. It’s truly impressive to be staying in a historical building and surrounded by wood, while enjoying the neat environment and modern design of shared bathroom. This’s also a good location for people who want to slow down and prefer less busy areas. Walkable distance to tram and JR stations, and the nearby area of Shirakawa River’s definitely nice for a walk. And don’t forget to order fine sake by 9pm if you’d like to taste more!

This is one of the most charming, cleanest, safest, and friendliest backpacking hostels I've ever stayed at. The staff was so helpful and obliging. The beds were clean and the storage secure. I stayed here on a whim after forgetting to plan one night's stay, and I'm so glad I did! I would visit again.

I had an amazing stay at On The Trip – truly one of the most comfortable hostels I’ve ever been to! My room was small but very cozy, private, and had the authentic feel of Japan. The whole place is stylish, clean, and full of Japanese vibes. They even provided me with a fresh set of towels after a few days and prepared food for me on my last day, which was such a thoughtful touch. The owners are incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help – truly wonderful people! I felt very welcome and am extremely grateful for the time I spent here. I’m honestly sad to leave and would love to come back again. As for the location – it’s not right in the city center, but there are several bus stops nearby, so getting around is very easy. And for One Piece fans, this hostel is a perfect choice – the Luffy statue is just a pleasant 30-minute walk away, and from there it’s also easy to reach some other statues. Thank you very much for such a great experience, On The Trip – this place will always stay in my heart ❤️

Το HIKE είναι σε Tamana, σε απόσταση 20 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Ιαματικές Πηγές Hirayama και προσφέρει κλιματιζόμενα καταλύματα και κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge. Yoko and all the team at HIKE, were very welcoming and helpful. A beautiful space, carefully designed by the owners.
