Loved the cute chimney that kept the space warm. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Location is quite central, close to restaurants. Unfortunately, it rained the whole time so I didn’t explore much.

This place was far away better that all I could expect, really ! Guys are giving such a warm welcome, all their best to make you feel home ! Really helpful and with a good state of mind. I'v just spent 2 nights there but it was absolutely delicious : the hosts, the good and large breakfasts, the cleaning, the matress (the best I had by now on my months journey), the shared areas with brand new and comfortabe stuffs). The only thing I was worrying about as seen on a preview was the distance to the city, but even for that, a 10 minutes walk is ok.

Laxapana Wilderness Homestay, en Norton Bridge, ofrece alojamiento solo para adultos con jardín y salón de uso común. The owner was quite helpful with providing us with the directions to the location as we got a little lost on the way. The owner's brother was expecting us at the door as promised. When we arrived we were greeted with tea, coffee and lovely Sri Lankan butter cake. The lady of the house was really friendly, kind and hospitable. She allowed us to make our dinner in her kitchen. We had a comfortable rest in our room after a very long day. The lady also gave me a kettle to use as I had coffee sachets. Drinking water was available from a water filter. The room and bathroom was very clean and we had blankets and quilts in case it got a bit chilly which it did later that night. The next day the lady (Amma) offered us chickpea's ,onion and egg sandwiches for breakfast. We asked for the sandwiches to be toasted and she went out of her way to do so. She also gave us black coffee with ginger which was the first time we tried it and it was lovely. Overall our stay was comfortable just what we needed after a very long bike ride. We definitely recommend this property as our stay was pleasant and the family was so lovely. We will surely visit again. Great value for money!!!

Hay 4 hermosos perros 🐕 que son súper amigables! Lo recomiendo y volvería! 👌
