It is a simple place at the beach, bed was clean and it had a mosquito net. Very good value for the money and kind hosts. Will return back one day! :)

Mario the owner was really nice, he offered shuttle from the airport in good price, we came quite late and it wasn’t a problem to pick us up, what I found really nice was that he took us to the small food place on our way to grab some food because I told him I was very hungry. We could also use charger adapters in the hotel. I liked breakfast also, it was local, simple and very tasty, milk tea was amazing. Mario also advised us where to take a bus to another city the next day. It was very nice stay :)

The owner/manager, Martin was an excellent source of travel info, which made up for the lack of other guests, and perhaps because now with the digital age we no longer talk to real people.

Chill place, cool staff. Was just what I needed for the final two days before the flight. Quite close to the beach too, and not the crowded part, so you can easily find a quiet spot to get some tan or enjoy the sunset.

I started and finished sri lanka in this hostel, which was amazing. It's just in front of the beach. Rooms have ac, which is marvelous, and are clean, and so is the bathroom. They offer free water and there's a fridge you can store your things. The host is really a nice and gentle man. They accept cash and card for payment. And also, it's just 15 min walking from the train station, which takes u to colombo fort, and 10 min walking from the avenue you can take the bus to colombo or some other cities as well. The avenue where this hostel is located has maaaany restaurant options, both cheap and expensive ones, and also souvenir and grocery shops, besides atm, so you have everything you need close to you. If I ever come back to sri lanka, for sure I'm going to this hostel again for some days.
