Greta and I had an amazing stay at Jungle Host hostel. Diwa and chuti were welcoming and super fun. They brought us everywhere and let us experience a lot of typical Sri Lankan culture, like the liquer, food, games, religion, culture etc. From the moment we arrived, we got immediately invited to join the trip to the secret waterfalls and many other activities in the following days. We won’t spoil yet, book your stay here if you want to discover more! We will definitely come back :) Ps. This new place is very nice, rooms are comfortable and super clean, AC and nice shower, the bed is super comfortable. Staff super kind, breakfast and diner are included if you want to stay in the hotel, super good deal for the price of my stay! Best place ever!!! The location is just perfect, you are away from the loud and crowded places but still a walkable distance to anywhere, you are surrounded by nature you can also see deers in the morning it’s truly magical! Diwakara and his family are all the sweetest people that take you in and you feel so much at home. The beds are comfortable and the shower is nice and strong, which you don’t get everywhere. The only problem is that you might not want to leave this place EVER. 😆

This is a new property and everything is very new, feels like a hotel really! I was pleasantly surprised and wanted to stay longer. Staff tried their best to help with everything. Very close to the rock, and lots of shops nearby. Comfortable bed, big lockers. Free breakfast also, such a good price for what you get.

Absolutely fantastic place, a very comfortable tree house full equiped ( nice bathroom with hot water, two double beds, fan, mosquitos nets) in the garden. Tasty breakfast from local sources included. Family mood, very nice and friendly owners who are ready to answer all your question about the orientation in Dambulla and the neighborhoods. Perfect location for discovering Dambulla rock temples and Sigiriya Rock. I recommend it, in this tree house you are going to feel like in a fairy tale.
