The place has the perfect mix of chill jungle energy and good people. Everyone here — staff and travelers — felt like instant friends. The food is insanely good (seriously, don’t miss their dinners!), and the atmosphere at night is pure magic. Ended up staying longer than planned because it just felt like home. If you’re coming to Sigiriya, this is the place to be! 🌿✨

The units at Funk Bunks - Sigiriya feature air conditioning and a desk. Everything was perfect! It was such a wonderful place to start our trip. The food was absolutely delicious, and the rooms were super comfortable. The bar was such a cozy and fun spot to hang out, and the staff were incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. The cooking class is also an absolute must-do and highly recommended. We’ll definitely come back again!

The host was incredible – he ordered and organised things for us, gave us loads of tips about the local area, and even went above and beyond when my friend left her bag at a bus stop. He actually tracked it down and drove it back to us! His whole family were so kind and welcoming, which made us feel completely at home. Breakfast was amazing every morning, and the beds were huge double bunks, super comfy after a long day exploring. Honestly, the host and his family made the trip for us – such a special place to stay
