This is the nicest family I have met in Mexico, really warm, kind and genuine. I would have stayed for weeks if I could. The breakfasts are unbelievably good and served with kindness and chats. I'd highly recommend Casa Xtakay, my favorite accommodation in mexico so far.

Very friendly staff and great location, an oasis in the middle of the town. Great with free coffee in the morning. Clean and quiet with good WiFi. The staff provided useful information about sights and things to do. If I ever came back to Valladolid I would stay here again.

We stayed in an private room with private bathroom. Everything was impeccable. Everything about the room was very comfortable (bed, shower, AC, presence of a private balcony) and the overall Hostel & Hotel is really nice with great common areas (such as the pool).

Great location. Everything in the city is in walkable distance. Super quiet area. Everything is really clean and nice. The kitchen and chill out area is in the backyard. Feels like in a jungle but is still in city center. Very lovely! Breakfast is great. You get various food with super nice bread as side dish, or served as sandwich. Basically it is the best bread I got during travelling. Water for free, bike and scooter rental and lots of information what to do in and around Valladolid. There was even a cooking class. Staff is super friendly without exception. We had booked the double room with private bathroom. Big and nice room. The shower is absolutely great! Also the best shower we had during travelling for two month. No noises during night.

Honestly, this was definitely the best hostel I've ever stayed. I was a bit tired after traveling for a few weeks and this was my sanctuary for a week and I had a great time there. Especially Emilio is supernice guy, speaks english very well, willing to help you with everything and makes sure that you are enjoying your time in Valladolid. Lav it!
