Such a lovely hostel right in the heart of the Thamel but it is so peaceful and tranquil with a nice garden space. Comfortable beds/pillows with privacy curtains and sockets/lights etc. The design of the bunk beds are nice with wide steps to climb up to so doesn’t feel like a bunk at all. Spacious showers with hot water. Staff are SO nice and friendly, they are always ready to help with anything. I felt very safe here as there is a large gate locked at night and 24 hour security/night shift staff. The staff are also constantly cleaning including bathrooms. 😀 WiFi is excellent. I organised the Manaslu trek via Pramod and it was incredible. I experienced a family bereavement during the trek and the staff on the trek and in the hostel couldn’t have been nicer to me. I appreciated it so much and will never forget your kindness 🙏

Servicio de bodega para guardar tu equipaje. Servicios de tours y trekking. El dueño y su personal son legitimamente amables y serviciales, te daran los consejos que necesites para moverte por Nepal. Las paredes tienen lindas pinturas y tienes buenas vistas de la terraza superior.

Nextdoor Patan dispone de jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y restaurante en Pātan. El alojamiento cuenta con bar y se encuentra a 2,4 km de Plaza Durbar de Katmandú. The personel is very friendly, funny and helpful. The whole hostel is nice and clean and my room had everything I needed. The location was really great for my needs and also close to everything that one might want to do. Even though I have not had the opportunity (as I was working) I do appreciate the free trips they organise. If ever coming back to Kathmandu, there is no other place I would stay.

Sunny was very welcoming and arranged an airport pick-up for me on arrival. I came to Kathmandu quite late at night and he had offered to cook despite it being so late. The breakfast was lovely in the courtyard. The room was basic but comfortable. Sunny also offered to help organise some trekking and booked the bus for me from Kathmandu to my next destination.

I really enjoyed my stay at Swastik hostel! This is a peaceful and very nice place with chill vibes. The owners and staff are very welcoming, friendly and always willing to help with any needs. The social environment is great too, I met very nice people and made new friends. I loved the dal bhat, I'm missing it already! Would love to go back one day.
