El Haka House Bay of Islands es un albergue acogedor y elegante situado justo enfrente del pintoresco muelle de Paihia. Genuinely the friendliest and most personable hostel staff that I have encountered in Aotearoa New Zealand so far! They also have the nicest view from the kitchen/lounge windows that I have seen so far. The hostel isn't very big and therefore has a calm atmosphere, no problems with noise.

El Peppertree Lodge se encuentra bajo una nueva dirección desde mediados de 2022, a solo 80 metros de la playa de Paihia, y ofrece una zona de barbacoa con asientos al aire libre. En-suite washroom was handy and a full kitchen downstairs was nice to prepare breakfasts in the morning. A very friendly staff dog to pet at the reception office and curious cat visitor was fun to relax with outside by the covered deck.

El Centabay Lodge ofrece alojamiento económico en el centro de Paihia. La cama y almohada eran comodísimas, y la presión del agua de la ducha era perfecta.
