I found this place last minute and really appreciated that it was pet-friendly and had self check-in, which made everything super easy. The hosts were easy to contact via WhatsApp and responded quickly. There’s no AC, but the bedroom has a large, powerful fan, and there’s another in the shared living room area, so it stayed comfortable. I also appreciated the comfy seating at the dining table. The kitchen area was clean and well equipped.

Nice to stay in Bastimentos, away from big Bocas Crowds. Would recommend for two nights. You can walk to the beach on the other side of the island.

The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and a tour desk for guests. I had a really lovely time at Cliff’s Hostel. The dorms are small (just 4 beds), which made it feel much more comfortable and relaxed compared to those big 10-bed dorms. The common area is super well designed – there's a hammock, a pool table, and plenty of space to just chill. It's a great place to relax and meet other travelers. The location is also good, though honestly, everything in town is quite close, so it was easy to get around. Breakfast (DIY in a local Panamanian style), starting at 8 am. But when I said that I have to leave earlier, Alexander (the host) actually got up before 7 just so I could have breakfast. He was also incredibly supportive when we talk about my diving course, always encouraging and helpful. Even after I moved out of the hostel, I had an important university exam and needed a favor, Alexander was kind enough to help me out. A warm, welcoming place with great energy. Would definitely recommend!

There were also lovely spots nearby that we could easily walk to. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. To get around the island, you can catch the public bus right in front of the hostel.

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. You can’t beat the price with a stick. Water pressure was good and the toilet flushed well.
