Karlos is the best hostel operator I have ever met. friendly helpful nice he can give advice, he knows a lot of information about the city and about tourist places in Peru. the accommodation is clean, quiet and in an absolutely great location. walking distance to the center and a short distance from the accommodation there is a fast bus station. the Viktoria quarter, from where most buses to the whole country go, is also nearby. this is your best choice!

Bunk beds were surprisingly high enough that you could sit up comfortably (which hasn’t been my experience with triple bunks in other hostels). Refurbished and spacious bathrooms, with hot water even at the sinks. Eggs served for breakfast along with two pieces of bread each.

Rooms at Hostel 1900 feature shared bathroom and wooden work desks. Dormitories have private lockers. Beautiful neobaroque building, staf so nice, felt like home, cleanliness and security at the highest level,  comfortable beds, high ceilings, quiet during the night excellent for a good night's sleep, blankets provided, plug and light per each bed, kitchen with utilities, fridge, clean bathroom with big mirror, soap and toilet paper, lots od showers and toalets,good WiFi signal, lockers, no mosquitoes in the room,large common area,wonderful terrace and excellent location. One minute froom local restaurator with geat and affordable food. Great breakfast. ATM at the entrance.  Definitely a great hostel which I highly reccmmend.
