Had a short but sweet stay at Lawi Haven! Perfectly situated in the heart of Burgos, the beach is just a few steps away! Rooms are very well designed and thought of! You can see that they really had the comfort of their guests in mind :) You can always see the staff maintaining the cleanliness and order of the place! Shoutout to Pao and Sam for making I had everything I needed. Also to the owner who made it extra special! Thank you! Will definitely be back

The place is located at the north of the island in what seems to be a remote area which is anything but that. It s located in a small village which is surrounded by other villages where you can find every need in. This hostel has has an incredible intimate social space where you can meet exceptional, interesting, kind and genuine, like minded people who are looking to have some quiet from the hustle and bustle of General Luna. The staff are just as welcoming and lovely, extremely helpful and kind and will always lend a helping hand for whatever need you have. This place let's you connect with the locals in a way you rarely see and it's truly a wonderful experience. On top of all that it s very comfortable, close to amazing beaches and can give you a great "home" vibe especially on longer stays.

Room was modern, clean and good value for money. They got scooter rental at the hotel wich was very convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful. 5 stars from me 😊🌟

It is also accessible as there are available tuktuk outside, food to eat outside and small stores you can buy. The common area is a great place to hang out and socialize. I love this place.

Το Haole Surf Hostel είναι σε General Luna, σε απόσταση 8,7 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Guyam Island και διαθέτει καταλύματα με κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και μπαρ. I highly recommend this place! We had been looking for something a bit outside of GL and Haole was just perfect. The host was incredibly kind, gave us perfect tips in perfect english. During our stay there was a brief time without water, which the host immediately had fixed for us. The room was super clean and amazing for us, with a shared terrace with freezer, water-refill, a darts game and plenty of space to hang out. The rest of the staff was also super kind. They are handling both the hostel and a restaurant downstairs, which is also very nice! They even fried some eggs that we brought ourselves, as for vegetarians the restaurant does not have that many options. 5 min by scooter from the hostel (bumpy road) there is a beautiful beach (Oceans 9) with a beginner friendly surf spot (beach break, left wave). I have to say, you do need a scooter in this area, distances too far to walk everything.

Super loved that our room is right in front of the pool. The staff were very accommodating and the shared space is always so welcoming and inviting. They have on-site motorcycle and e-bike rentals. Which is pretty convenient especially that the roads are sort of narrow and unpaved in Siargao. It is a quick 10 mins to the Tourism Road and nearest bank.

Out of all my 10+ years of travel experience, this is one of the TOP3 hostels I have ever stayed. I especially liked the design and comfort of the beds - they have a proper privacy curtain, a locker and a couple of shelves inside the bed capsule. The family that owns the place live in the same building, so the maintenance issues are resolved quickly. They sometimes do their own family dinners and evening events where guests are usually invited to join in. Hostel has backup generators and Starlink internet, so in the event of power outage, you still have electricity and internet.
