Pom, the owner, told me about how she farms this ocean pond on the property with fish, tiger prawns, horseshoe crab, seaweed and sea cucumbers! She sells them at market. She showed me the whole process! The room was super unique and beautiful over the pond. She serves an inexpensive breakfast in the morning.

Everything was great. The place is very clean and comfortable:) the staff is super friendly! And the location is great! 10 out of 10. Just a friendly suggestion to add a bit more privacy such as curtains to the beds. But that’s not critical:)

Το Mukda βρίσκεται σε Ko Yao Noi, σε απόσταση 2,4 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Klong Jark και προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge. I loved the place - the location, its tranquility, room size, bed. Some complain about "hard mattress" but personally, I had a good sleep and I stayed there 3 nights. What's best about Mukda though is people who create it. The hosts are always there for you, caring very much to make everyone feel like home. If you don't fancy a 3in1 coffee that is offered at Mukda, Coffee Cup Cafe is a 15min walk away :) Location is really good as it's just a 5 min walk from an empty beach, if you rent a motorbike or a bicycle (yes, it's also possible!) you can easily go to the so called center (7/11 is there) and if you don't feel like going out, the hosts can cook a delicious meal for a very reasonable price on site. :)

Το Khaolak inn βρίσκεται στο Καο Λακ, σε απόσταση 800μ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Hat Nang Thong και προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και μπαρ. Best budget stay with a warm and super helpful host, Mr. Chang. He will make your stay so comfortable and hassle free. Helpful from the beginning since we made the booking, easy to connect and approachable. He will help you with the best prices on tours (we did Similan), transfers, everything. The location is just perfect with 7/11 right on opposite street along with many bars (Tarzan) and nice restaurants. Near the Khao Lak beach for some killer sunset views right from the streets around the stay. He helped us with laundry (minimal charges) and we were not expecting a cleaning service on such a budget stay and left our room really messy while going out for the tour in a hurry. They cleaned the room while being mindful of our stuff and kept it safe and neatly stacked for our return. That was a very pleasant surprise on our way back, tired but happy from the tour. He even suggested the Thai massage parlour downstairs right beside their office, it was priced perfectly and even the masseuse aunties there were very skilled. We left this place so relaxed and content with our stay.
