Haus Hislop in Inneralpbach, is situated in the epicentre of the Ski Jewel resort. It has a marvellous view of the mountains. The Alpbachtal and the Tyrolean Lake District are located in the middle of an impressive mountain landscape between the Kitzb?hel Alps and the Rofan Mountains at an altitude of approx. 1000 metres above sea level. Perfect terrain for hiking, mountain biking and winter sports of all kinds. Just down the hill, from Haus Hislop, a 3 minutes' walk, is where it all starts. The nearest lift; ski school office. The lift here, is a T-bar lift and it connects with the two gondolas here in Inneralpbach, accessing the whole area, both the Alpbachtal and Wildsch?nau ski regions. It is a 2 minutes ski or a 8-10 minutes' walk from Haus Hislop. On arrival you will receive the Alpbachtal Card, which includes numerous great services such as the mountain railway in summer, Regiobus and much more. I look forward to hearing from you - Claire

I am originally from Haworth, West Yorkshire in the U.K. I decided to build Haus Hislop after holidaying here, both in summer & winter. Mountain life is awesome with a great climate that has well defined seasons: the snowy winters; the sunny summers; the glorious springs, colourful autumns & the sound-track of gently tinkling cow bells from the surrounding fields. (The main industry here is farming. The Alpbachtal has the same number of operating farms as there were 100 years ago.) I love to swim in the lakes, play tennis & have adventurous days out on an E-bike. I also occasionally partake in some of the mild-adrenaline activities such as the high rope garden, (that has 3 zip slides) & go tubing in the nearby gorge. (It is similar to white water rafting but you have your own vessel!) As I live in the house, I am always on hand to help out with anything you should require such as taxis, restaurants, activity bookings or simply advice & tourist information. In the Winter, Haus Hislop is based at the epicentre of the Alpbachtal-Wildschonau Ski Juwel resort. With 145 kms of pristine pistes and 47 lifts all on one ski pass, the area offers something for all ability levels. For the rest of the year, the Alpbach valley is the ideal starting point for many beautiful walks and bike tours. Over 900km of marked walking paths and mountain bike trails await. During the Summer months the Alpbachtal Seenland Card provides guests with free use of gondolas, natural lakes & swimming baths, familiy activities, wild water sports, events and much more!
