Property info

At The Bay gives you such a spectacular panoramic view of the bay and the mountains that you would be forgiven for thinking you had borrowed the set of a Bond film to stay in. This is serious luxury here. Both bedrooms have a king-size bed, one of which can be configured to two singles if you prefer. Each room has its own controllable air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom. The bathrooms have rainhead showers, heated towel rails and, in cooler months, underfloor heating. As well as a laundry there is a fully equipped kitchen and, with the aid of a ramp from the car park to the back door, the whole property is wheelchair accessible. At The Bay has a television in every room (there's a gigantic sixty-five-inch set in the living room), wireless internet throughout and is only a couple of hundred metres from the shops and a good cafe. If you are doing your own cooking, you will appreciate the modern kitchen with its oven and hobs, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave as well as plenty of work space. The dining and lounge area has a 180-degree view of the bay and the mountains through floor-to-almost-ceiling windows.

There are many attractions here in Freycinet. In the Freycinet National Park you have the famous Wineglass Bay and the lighthouse, you can get information & maps on the walks and hikes in this region from the National Park office here in Coles Bay. There are also experiences such as: A unique and reputable food & wine tour called The Long Lunch Tour Co. Wineglass Bay Cruises where you can view Wineglass Bay via a cruise. 4WD bike tours with All4Adventures. Kayak Tours with Freycinet Adventures. Scenic flights with Freycinet Air. The Freycinet Marine Farm where you can sample local oysters and scallops A restaurant/ cafe "Geographe". There are also wineries in the area & Tombolo woodfire pizza's at Devils Corner. There are lots of stunning beaches for swimming and fishing and a golf course. There are also many attractions in the next town of Bicheno (only 25 minutes away), where you can go on a night time Penguin Tours and see Tasmanian Devils at Nature World.
