The Nook is the sweetest little cottage built around 1870 in the original Glenelg village and just a short walk to the white sands of Glenelg beach and cafes. Recently refurbished, the cottage is white and light and full of charm. Enjoy a bbq in the private garden or cosy up to a lounge room fire while enjoying that red wine you just purchased in nearby Mclaren Vale or Adelaide Hills. You will be so comfortable you will wish you had booked for a longer stay. The Nook awaits to greet you!
I always look forward to sharing the beauty and location of the Nook. I love creating a homely and welcoming space for guests to have a good break away from home. I will always do my best to accommodate special requests to add to your memory of your visit to the Nook.
There are lovely neighbourhood walks, playgrounds, tennis courts and pubs and cafes all very close. A short walk to Jetty Road shopping precinct either at Glenelg in the North or to Brighton in the South.
Driving is a good way to get around in Adelaide but a pleasant walk along the beach esplanade for 1.5km will get you to the tram where 35 minutes later you will arrive in the central markets, the city and beyond. There are two bicycles and helmets in the outside storage shed. Uber and frequently running local buses are of course available in the area.
