Built in the year 1896 from bricks made in Kaslo, this nearly 130 year old building has been fully modernized and updated to provide a vacation home experience like no other. The 1896 Building is a historic mixed-use Kaslo heritage building built in the year 1896 featuring 3 private and modern short term rentals and a coffee/ice cream shop . Loki’s Loft and Cellar is a completely unique space and is the premier place to stay in Kaslo. Entering from Front St, the street level features a half bath and leads down to the epic cellar. The 600 sq ft cellar has a large couch, TV, card table and chairs and heated floors. As you walk upstairs to the top level, you enter the open living space with a full kitchen, dining table, and living room. Enjoy the spectacular views of the historic SS Moyie, Kootenay Lake and the Purcell mountain range with an uninterrupted look of Mt Loki.
