Seagull Studio Vacation Suite in Sooke, British Columbia on Vancouver Island is a newish self-contained plush suite built in 2021. Check out our online reviews to hear what our guests are saying. When you enter the suite you are welcomed by the Cheetah carpeting that leads you up the stairs into the suite. In the living room, you will love the Cheetah wallpaper that immediately puts a smile on your face. Two comfy armchairs flank the gas fireplace where you can lounge or you might choose the sofa instead. This is where you can watch TV, listen to music, or catch up on your reading. In front of the bay window is a super comfy daybed that is used for an additional person or simply for lounging. There is also a good-sized working desk where you can charge all your tech items so that you have everything in one place. The washroom is a dream as it offers a higher toilet seat for additional comfort. The shower head is a rainhead shower head that is 10 inches wide so it feels like a waterfall when you stand under it. There is also a separate handheld wand if you prefer to quickly clean up. The vanity area has excellent lighting and sufficient counter space for all of those smaller items that need to be readily available. Then we have storage in the washroom which was a very important part of the design process so that you could simply keep all your items in the washroom while staying at Seagull Studio. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, two nightstands with lamps, and a large armoire for you to store your clothing items along with the decorative pillows that grace the bed. There is a charging station outlet in the bedroom along with extra blankets and pillows for your comfort. Now you can stroll across the street to the newly renovated 'Sooke Harbour House' which is available for Happy Hour and dinner on their beautiful patio.

In 2021 my husband John who is a retired Landscape Designer and I who is a Fashion Designer finally moved into our *Forever Dream Home*. The process was almost 7 years in the making as we had to find the perfect piece of land to build on, and then design a home that would take us into our senior years with ease. Who knew that a Global Pandemic would happen during this period when the ability to purchase products was extremely challenging but hey, we survived. Having four married children and 5 grandchildren between us, we also designed a private separate suite at the end of the building along with a private patio. Seagull Studio Vacation Suite was opened on July 1st, 2021 which is Canada Day in Canada so that was extra special. As a businesswoman who has been self-employed most of her life, I was very excited about entering the hospitality business. Meeting and greeting people from all across the world and helping them navigate this region has been the ride of a lifetime. I consider myself very privileged to be able to host people who want to visit this beautiful part of the world.
