Tres Continentes is right in the Andean mountains between the main road and the River Maipo in a beautiful landscape. The area is called Maipo Canyon (Spanish: Cajón del Maipo) and is known as "the lung of Santiago" due to its proximity to the capital city of Chile. The local tourism offer includes hikes, rafting, horse-riding,
thermal baths, walks to glaciars, and much more. By car it is possible to get to Embalse el Yeso and to Laguna Negra.
