"Slow down in the oasis Dreckerhook!" is located in an over 100-year-old building, a former farmers school in the outskirts of Raesfeld surrounded by fields, extensive paths and forests. Nature, hospitality, sights and numerous popular events wrap themselves in an all-round green feel-good atmosphere in Raesfeld.
Ideal conditions for a relaxed journey of discovery, especially by bike. There is the impressive Raesfeld Castle from the 13th-17th centuries with its outer castle and main castle in the middle of the West Münsterland park landscape. The historic zoo at the castle is characterised by extensive meadows and heaths as well as extensive woodland.
Cycling is a real way of life in Münsterland. No wonder there are countless cycle paths and cycle tours in Münsterland. Around 4,500 kilometres of them are signposted and lead to impressive sights, picturesque village centres, unspoilt countryside or follow the numerous rivers in Münsterland. The cycle paths are mostly flat, but never boring.
