Although we don’t live locally, we work closely with a trusted on-the-ground team to ensure the chalet is prepared to a high standard for every stay. Les Encarnes has been a much-loved family home for over 25 years, and we are delighted to share it with you. This spacious seven-bedroom chalet is ideal for large families and groups, offering generous communal areas alongside quieter corners for relaxation and independence. The layout allows everyone to come together while still enjoying their own space. Enter via the internal heated garage, where you’ll find a convenient ski boot room. A central corridor leads through the chalet and upstairs to the heart of the home: a beautiful historic open-plan lounge, dining, and entertaining space. With high ceilings and character features, it’s the perfect place to gather after a day in the mountains. Across the hallway is a large, fully equipped kitchen designed for cooking and sharing memorable meals. The chalet’s bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged across different wings, including a master en-suite set apart for privacy, family bedrooms, and flexible sleeping spaces. A mezzanine above the lounge provides games and a desk for working or quiet time. The lower level of the chalet has been beautifully refurbished into a warm and cosy living area, originally part of the farmhouse used during Alpine winters. It now offers additional bedrooms, a second kitchen, and a comfortable living space with exposed beams and tiled floors - ideal for teenagers or families with young children. Les Encarnes is exceptionally well equipped for families, with Freesat TV, DVDs, PS3, board games, and a chessboard. For younger guests, there is a high chair, travel cot, children’s toys, and cutlery. Outside, enjoy breathtaking mountain views from the terrace or balcony. The garden features a hot tub and BBQ, perfect for relaxing together. Parking is easy, with a large driveway, an internal heated garage, and additional external garages available for guest use.

Located in the heart of the French Alps, Les Gets and Morzine are part of the vast Portes du Soleil ski area, offering over 600 km of slopes across France and Switzerland. Les Gets is a charming, family-friendly village known for its traditional alpine feel, great skiing, and relaxed atmosphere. Just next door, Morzine offers a livelier scene with more shops, restaurants, and direct access to higher-altitude terrain in Avoriaz. In both winter and summer, the area is perfect for skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and enjoying stunning mountain scenery.
