Our two-hectare land features two spring-fed ponds with fish, a small forest, and a meadow where guests are welcome to walk and unwind. The guest apartment, on the first floor of our home, offers a quiet stay close to nature. It was built with natural materials and care for indoor health, and it is maintained with simple, natural cleaning products. Guests have a private terrace and a spacious 600 m² fenced garden—safe for children and pets—as well as hammocks, outdoor games, and the chance to fish or simply relax by the water.
We’re a couple living in the Périgord Vert, where we try to live simply and minimize our environmental footprint. We enjoy working outdoors and the practical side of everyday life. We’re glad to welcome travellers and happy to share local advice or favourite places.
The Périgord Vert is a green, hilly region filled with forests and small lakes—perfect for swimming, hiking, and fishing. Piégut-Pluviers, just 1 km away, offers shops, cafés, and the largest open-air market in the Dordogne every Wednesday, full of local produce and crafts. In summer, nearby villages host evening farmers’ markets where you can enjoy local food outdoors in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
