Where modern heritage meets a warm Derbyshire welcome.
Oakhill Hotel is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed (Georgian style) house built by the Arkwright family in the mid 19th century, as a private family dwelling. The hotel is located in the stunning Derbyshire countryside, set in extensive landscaped gardens within the historic village of Cromford, in the UNESCO Derwent Valley World Heritage Site.
Oakhill Hotel has four beautifully furnished suites, all with the most wonderful open views. Each is finished to an impeccable standard with original features and thoughtful heritage touches throughout. There are ten further bedrooms offering comfortable and spacious accommodation, with en-suite facilities.
Derbyshire dining at its best! Experience Oakhill Hotel’s elevated take on traditional home cooking with a friendly, thoughtful service. We serve breakfast, lunches, dinners and afternoon teas. We pride ourselves on using locally sourced quality ingredients complemented by a reasonably priced comprehensive wine list. Our stylish bar and lounge and elegant dining room overlook our beautiful garden. We can cater for any family celebration including weddings.
Please note: Due to us being a Grade II listed building this means that our rooms, and grounds are not suitable for customers with mobility issues. We do advise you to call reception to discuss this further.
