Faiche an Traoin (Faish an Trown) means Field of the Corncrake, birds that once inhabited this area. It was built in 2020, has 2 double bedrooms, large lounge/dining area/kitchen and bathroom with walk in shower. It is located in the village of Dunan, 5 miles from Broadford. The house is directly above the seashore with views to the Island of Scalpay across Loch na Cairidh, the Old man of Storr and to the mountains of the mainland and the wall to ceiling windows highlight the beautiful views
As our family have been in Dunan since at least 1841 we are very happy to assist with questions about what to do and see in the area or anywhere on Skye- contact by phone or e mail
The house is situated on a croft and with a very private feel. Dunan is fairly centrally situated on Skye allowing travel to all parts of the island Plenty of parking at the house and on Skye a car is really required
