A Yorkshire stone cottage, recently renovated, the house is located right alongside the canal in a great location between Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd. Your room has a comfy double bed, and views across the canal to wooded farmland. There's a sofa, smart TV, free WiFi, and a tea tray with kettle and milk, tea and coffee ad biscuits. Your private bathroom with toilet, bath and shower, with bathmat and towels, is right next door. Downstairs there a kitchen where you can prepare breakfast or a simple meal. Outside, there's a canalside garden where you can sit out to eat or relax in good weather. It's a pleasant 10-15 minute walk into the centre of Hebden Bridge with all its cafes, shops, art galleries, the Picture House, Calder Holmes Park and so much more. In the opposite direction along the towpath, its a 10-minute walk into Mytholmroyd centre, with its well-regarded pubs serving food, three great cafes, a variety of good takeaways. Its a 5-minute walk to the local Asda.
Hi, I'm Keefer. I'm a Yorkshireman, a singer-songwriter and by day a painter and decorator. I'm looking forward to welcoming you to my canalside home in Hebden Bridge.
The house is located right by the canal towpath, so you have a view of the water from your room. You'll see the ducks and geese who swim by your window, and the heron if you're lucky. This is a great place to stay for walkers and cyclists as there are great walks and cycles in every direction, and easy access to Hebden Bridge town centre with a walk along the canal. Mytholmroyd village centre has three good pubs, three nice cafes, a variety of good takeaways, and there's a small Asda supermarket and filling station 400m along the road.
