High Tor Hotel is a boutique hotel located in the picturesque Spa Town of Matlock Bath, conveniently situated within walking distance between both Matlock and Matlock Bath about 7 minutes walk to both towns. Inside our boutique hotel we have our restaurant Artist's Corner.
The hotel has been fully restored to its 19th Century glory in accordance with its Grade II listed status and furnished to a high standard throughout with solid ash doors to all rooms.
High Tor Hotel is a modern hotel offering guests luxury, comfort and style.
The High Tor Hotel has been fully restored to its former 19th Century glory when it is believed to have belonged to Admiral Nelson-General Collingwood. All fourteen bedrooms boast the finest of furnishings and the hotel also includes a bar, restaurant and a separate breakfast room. Our restaurant menu can be seen on the restaurant page.
All our bedrooms are en-suite, we have small doubles, superior doubles and executive rooms, twins and family rooms. Our Junior suite has a luxurious bed and a large bath for two. Our honeymoon suite with it's round bed and large bath for two is one of the most popular in the area. The hotel has been finished to a very high standard and each bathroom individually designed with some rooms including monsoon massage showers and pool baths. Guests also have access to free Wifi throughout the hotel .
Our Breakfast room open 7.00am - 9.00am weekdays and 8am to 10am weekends.
Continental breakfast is included with your room from Monday - Friday. Cooked breakfast option is available at an extra cost of 7.99 GBP per person per day and children under 12 and under charged at 4.99 GBP
